[00:02:16] to have the most special guest, Miss Zoe Palmer joining us again.

[00:02:21] Yay!

[00:02:22] Hello.

[00:02:23] Hello.

[00:02:24] Welcome back.

[00:02:25] Thank you.

[00:02:26] Thank you for having me back.

[00:02:27] You look lovely.

[00:02:28] Thank you.

[00:02:29] So do you.

[00:02:30] Thank you so much.

[00:02:31] Everyone, I don't know who I'm, but I can see you all and you all look great.

[00:02:40] Thank you.

[00:02:41] Thank you so much.

[00:02:42] Well, we are very excited Zoe because today we are going to be talking about Lost Girl

[00:02:48] season two episodes seven and eight.

[00:02:53] Episode seven titled Fagon Wild written by Alexandra Zaroni and directed by Lynn Sopkowicz

[00:03:00] and episode eight titled Death Didn't Become Him written by Steve Cochran and directed by

[00:03:06] Steve DeMarco.

[00:03:08] So all fine people, all fine people.

[00:03:12] And so we're going into episode seven at the end of episode six.

[00:03:16] We learn that Lauren has a girlfriend named Nadia.

[00:03:22] The last scene is Lauren talking to Nadia in a giant oxygen tank.

[00:03:26] So, yeah, or some sort of tank, some sort of life sustaining tank.

[00:03:33] Yeah, she was in a life sustaining tank.

[00:03:36] Now, was she actually in it?

[00:03:38] Description of sci-fi episodes, you know, because like as you're watching it, it

[00:03:42] seems normal.

[00:03:43] But then as you're describing it right now, it seems so brutal.

[00:03:47] Yeah.

[00:03:48] She was in a life sustaining oxygen tank.

[00:03:50] Cool.

[00:03:51] I think at some point they got a double to lie there.

[00:03:56] Yeah, because what I know is that Athena was credited.

[00:04:00] So I was like, God, she came in to just lie in that tank.

[00:04:04] Well, I think, yeah, I think she may have at times and then not at other times.

[00:04:09] Right.

[00:04:10] Because there were times where like there was a lot of stuff where we were in front

[00:04:15] of that tank just doing hours and hours of whatever we were doing.

[00:04:19] Right.

[00:04:20] And I think that she was switched out for someone else or something that looked like a body in

[00:04:27] there.

[00:04:28] Right.

[00:04:29] I don't really know what I'm saying.

[00:04:30] I can't remember.

[00:04:31] I feel like that set was just for the tank.

[00:04:34] Did we do anything else in that room?

[00:04:37] We sure did.

[00:04:38] I'm glad you remember.

[00:04:43] Yeah.

[00:04:44] I don't know.

[00:04:45] I think we did.

[00:04:46] I mean, we did other things.

[00:04:48] It was fairly, it was fairly nadia centric.

[00:04:51] It was nadia centric.

[00:04:52] That's right.

[00:04:53] I mean, there was one thing in the room and it was Nadia.

[00:04:56] And she, and there was a big tank.

[00:04:59] So now that we've established there was a tank and Nadia was in it.

[00:05:03] So, okay.

[00:05:04] So at the beginning of the episode, Kensie and Bo are sitting there.

[00:05:11] Kensie's trying to encourage Bo to open this box.

[00:05:14] Right?

[00:05:15] So the box and now, okay.

[00:05:17] Oh, this is our stripper episode as well.

[00:05:19] Stripper seals.

[00:05:20] Yeah.

[00:05:21] Stripper seals.

[00:05:22] I wasn't there.

[00:05:23] You were not in for the stripper part.

[00:05:25] So no, they, I believe we had real, we had hired real strippers.

[00:05:30] Why wouldn't we?

[00:05:32] Lovely women dancing, beautiful women dancing.

[00:05:35] It's important to dance like a stripper.

[00:05:36] Have you ever tried to go to one of those classes?

[00:05:39] Like, you?

[00:05:40] Yeah.

[00:05:41] No, it's not.

[00:05:42] It doesn't come naturally.

[00:05:43] I know.

[00:05:44] If that's, if that's, no, they have to.

[00:05:46] Talentedly.

[00:05:47] Yeah.

[00:05:48] Yeah.

[00:05:49] You know what?

[00:05:50] It's hard.

[00:05:51] And then God help you if you have to go up a wall.

[00:05:53] Yeah.

[00:05:54] No, seriously.

[00:05:55] I mean, I would, I would never come back down.

[00:05:58] I don't think.

[00:05:59] I think I could get one.

[00:06:00] What would you do up there?

[00:06:01] I don't know.

[00:06:04] I think I'd be, once I got up there, I'd panic and just

[00:06:08] cling for dear life.

[00:06:09] I think you'd have to send the fire department.

[00:06:13] At one point, I actually bartended in a bar that had a pole.

[00:06:17] No one stripped.

[00:06:18] It was meant for everybody to do whatever they wanted on.

[00:06:20] And I had one move I could do, but it was not particularly enticing.

[00:06:23] It was more athletic.

[00:06:25] And I would do that move.

[00:06:27] Okay.

[00:06:28] Well, I wish I could show you.

[00:06:31] I wish I could show you the move.

[00:06:33] Like this is a pole and this is you.

[00:06:35] Okay.

[00:06:36] Here's the pole.

[00:06:38] Yeah.

[00:06:39] And for everyone watching, this was the pole.

[00:06:40] This is me.

[00:06:41] Yeah.

[00:06:42] And I would run at it and hook my leg and then spin.

[00:06:46] I mean, I can't spin and spin and spin.

[00:06:48] And so I'd start up high and then spin to the floor.

[00:06:51] Oh, yeah.

[00:06:52] I know.

[00:06:53] I know.

[00:06:54] You had no idea.

[00:06:55] I mean, I can't believe we did five years of last film where you play a sexual succubus

[00:07:00] and we never once saw you spin on a pole.

[00:07:02] I know.

[00:07:03] A lost opportunity.

[00:07:04] I feel robbed.

[00:07:05] I feel robbed.

[00:07:06] I mean, yeah.

[00:07:07] Well, these ladies came in.

[00:07:10] Yes.

[00:07:11] Real strippers, except for our guest star who played the main stripper seal, Christina

[00:07:17] Rosado, who was amazing.

[00:07:18] I know Rachel, you've worked with her before.

[00:07:20] She was incredible and she was beautiful and her dancing was amazing.

[00:07:25] And I remember, I feel like they probably hired a female director for this reason

[00:07:30] because it was a very, you know, exposing episode for everybody.

[00:07:36] But there was a lot of energy on set that day, but she was so beautiful and did it so well, etc., etc.

[00:07:45] It's hard to do that stuff.

[00:07:48] It's hard to do that stuff.

[00:07:49] You know, I've heard like whether it's singing in front of a bunch of people or dancing in front of a bunch of people

[00:07:55] and you know, there's a million background or whatever it is.

[00:07:58] And it's like your moment to do this thing.

[00:08:00] And it's, you know, it's vulnerable.

[00:08:04] It's vulnerable for sure.

[00:08:05] Yeah. So good for her. It's hard.

[00:08:08] So what about season two coming, coming and watching episodes from season two?

[00:08:12] I don't know about you, but I have a really tough time remembering like I'm watching it like I've never seen or thought of this show.

[00:08:21] I don't remember the story yesterday.

[00:08:23] It was a lot.

[00:08:25] No, I mean, I was going to say, it would be weird if you had watching season one.

[00:08:30] I can, maybe it's because it was our first season.

[00:08:32] We were finding it and it's more, it's more fresh in my memory.

[00:08:36] But season two, I feel like we came back, we hit the ground running and all of a sudden I just can't, I'm watching going, oh yeah.

[00:08:45] Or like who are these people?

[00:08:47] I don't remember this at all.

[00:08:49] It's crazy.

[00:08:50] Well, season two was also 22 episodes.

[00:08:52] It was.

[00:08:53] I mean, I feel like at this point we didn't know it was going to be 22.

[00:08:56] No, we didn't.

[00:08:57] We didn't.

[00:08:58] But you do now.

[00:08:59] But we do now, but we did then if we look back.

[00:09:02] But I feel like the show was very much still in creature of the week.

[00:09:08] Yeah.

[00:09:09] You know, but I remember that season two also feeling like, oh my God, I'm not like an actor anymore.

[00:09:17] I'm a professional line learner and say her because all I did was like there was a lot of like boat is a lot of things like I wrote down some lines where she has to say a lot of things like when I said we should spend more time together.

[00:09:28] This is not what I had in mind.

[00:09:29] Like things like that, you know what I mean?

[00:09:31] Like where she was constantly there's lots of top one line, one line, one line, one line and then both has something like that.

[00:09:37] And I feel like we did a lot of that, which is entertaining.

[00:09:40] But it became it became hard to perform when you're doing that many episodes.

[00:09:46] It really is a grind.

[00:09:48] So yeah.

[00:09:50] Oh sure.

[00:09:52] You're balancing a performance with just the sheer volume of work that you're doing with no break, no time to prepare.

[00:10:00] It's not like you got all 22 episodes ahead of time.

[00:10:03] So sometimes, you know, you're filming till four in the morning and starting a new episode the next day and you're, you know, trying to read it before you go to sleep.

[00:10:11] And that's like crazy.

[00:10:14] It's crazy.

[00:10:16] It's crazy.

[00:10:17] And so in watching it, I feel that it I mean, it's fun to watch because I don't remember it.

[00:10:23] And yeah, the guest stars are so good.

[00:10:27] Yeah, they're so good.

[00:10:29] An episode eight like Salvatore playing the lick.

[00:10:33] Oh my God, that was a trip to watch that again.

[00:10:36] It was such a trip to watch that again and because it was because I remember that very well.

[00:10:40] Yes, I actually do have more memories of that one.

[00:10:43] And I and because it was directed by Steve DiMarco who moved so quickly, Salvatore had to be like he did like one or two takes of all that stuff.

[00:10:53] I know.

[00:10:54] I know.

[00:10:55] And he was so compelling.

[00:10:57] So mind you, he did have time at the end after Salvatore's character died to do a few alternate endings.

[00:11:05] Yes, I remember that.

[00:11:07] Yes, he like staged some bloopers.

[00:11:10] Steve DiMarco, the director.

[00:11:11] Well, he staged him.

[00:11:12] We were listening to him say his final words dead on the ground.

[00:11:15] Yes.

[00:11:16] And then just when we thought he had finally died, we would start to walk away.

[00:11:20] That's right.

[00:11:21] And then he would launch right back into more lines and we'd turn back and then he would die again.

[00:11:26] We're like, okay, he's done.

[00:11:27] And I think that clip for everyone listening exists on some blooper reel somewhere.

[00:11:32] So you can't find that.

[00:11:35] Yeah, that's what I mean Steve was so good at bringing that kind of levity to set.

[00:11:40] Yeah, but everyone was just really game for it.

[00:11:43] And I look at some of the guest stars in both of these episodes and I think there's just such good performances from people like that they had such rich characters.

[00:11:54] Oh yeah.

[00:11:55] I mean, I think one thing that stands out just rewatching it every time I rewatch it is just the sheer creativity that was infused in the show.

[00:12:04] It was so, so heightened, so magical, so creative.

[00:12:08] You know, you really they really did create this world that like you were saying a minute ago sounds crazy when we kind of talk about it now.

[00:12:16] But at the time it was just in the context of this magic.

[00:12:20] Yeah.

[00:12:21] And I don't know it was kind of such a treat to be able to kind of really play in that playground.

[00:12:28] It's very cool.

[00:12:30] I look back and I go, oh yeah.

[00:12:33] There's not many shows that have that you know and it was such a fun thing to do.

[00:12:40] Totally.

[00:12:41] Totally.

[00:12:42] Was there anything that you guys felt didn't work about this episode or?

[00:12:47] The stripper seals episode.

[00:12:51] Well for sure I look like I have a mullet.

[00:12:56] My hair.

[00:12:57] What's going on with my hair?

[00:12:58] I have a mullet.

[00:13:00] I have a mullet.

[00:13:02] But I look back and I'm like, oh it's a thing.

[00:13:06] It's a thing.

[00:13:07] Look, and our hair guy was incredible, incredible.

[00:13:11] Sometimes we would take a few risks.

[00:13:13] You always it's like your...

[00:13:16] Oh do I?

[00:13:17] Yeah.

[00:13:18] Oh well how's my hair right now?

[00:13:19] It's great.

[00:13:20] It's pretty good.

[00:13:21] Always good.

[00:13:22] It could be better.

[00:13:23] You look great.

[00:13:25] I forget your question.

[00:13:28] What, it didn't work?

[00:13:29] I have a lot of things in this episode that I loved.

[00:13:32] First of all, in both of these episodes, Casey Collins is rocking it.

[00:13:38] He just has this...

[00:13:39] Is that when he takes his shirt off?

[00:13:41] Oh yeah.

[00:13:42] Jesus.

[00:13:43] I mean, but like what the heck?

[00:13:46] He is...

[00:13:47] Yeah, well he's ripped.

[00:13:49] He is ripped.

[00:13:50] It's beyond ripped.

[00:13:51] Yeah, it's ripped in a...

[00:13:52] Yeah, yeah.

[00:13:53] It's not just regular ripped.

[00:13:54] It's ripety rip rip.

[00:13:55] It's ripety rip ripped.

[00:13:56] Yeah.

[00:13:57] Yeah.

[00:13:58] You're right.

[00:13:59] Yeah, we were like, huh?

[00:14:00] I didn't know...

[00:14:01] No, I didn't know.

[00:14:02] And I remember...

[00:14:03] You know what I said on set?

[00:14:04] It was almost scientific.

[00:14:05] It was scientific.

[00:14:06] It was.

[00:14:07] You needed tweezers.

[00:14:08] Not tweezers.

[00:14:09] Something larger.

[00:14:10] But you needed something.

[00:14:11] But I just remember thinking...

[00:14:12] We have to follow that thought.

[00:14:13] It's because I was thinking of the game operation.

[00:14:16] That's why.

[00:14:17] But that's a little bit different.

[00:14:20] You wanted to take out a dog bone from his...

[00:14:23] I did.

[00:14:24] I wanted to take out the butterflies.

[00:14:25] Throw that in the ways and you'd be like, shit.

[00:14:27] Yeah.

[00:14:28] Yeah.

[00:14:29] Yeah.

[00:14:30] We currently play operation in this house sometimes still, believe it or not.

[00:14:33] All right.

[00:14:34] So it's fresh in my mind.

[00:14:36] And you just imagine KC lying there.

[00:14:39] I do.

[00:14:40] I'm like, what?

[00:14:41] I'm like, what?

[00:14:42] I'm like, what?

[00:14:43] I'm like, what?

[00:14:44] You just imagine KC lying there.

[00:14:46] I do all the time.

[00:14:47] Yeah.

[00:14:48] But we know what he was doing any time he was in his trailer was plank.

[00:14:52] Or sit-ups.

[00:14:53] Was he?

[00:14:54] I don't mean, look at his body.

[00:14:56] He was ribbed, he rip-ripped.

[00:14:57] I know, but some people just had that.

[00:14:59] They do.

[00:15:00] I know.

[00:15:01] That's what Chris was doing.

[00:15:02] He was doing planks and apples.

[00:15:04] I know.

[00:15:05] But I think KC...

[00:15:06] Yeah.

[00:15:07] And then Chris has a great body.

[00:15:08] Yeah.

[00:15:09] But KC's body was like something that should have been in an anatomy class.

[00:15:13] Yeah.

[00:15:14] I know.

[00:15:15] We need to discuss this with him.

[00:15:17] This is...

[00:15:18] I mean, it's in the most complimentary way.

[00:15:20] Yeah.

[00:15:21] I just mean like, oh my God.

[00:15:22] How could this not be complimentary?

[00:15:23] You have to put it on.

[00:15:24] Okay.

[00:15:25] I don't know.

[00:15:26] I don't know.

[00:15:27] I'm just making...

[00:15:28] Yeah.

[00:15:29] Yeah.

[00:15:30] He really was at next level.

[00:15:31] Yeah.

[00:15:32] I'm all like, I have abs.

[00:15:33] And then I would like...

[00:15:34] But you know, KC never...

[00:15:35] You know how there's some people that know they have my under their shirts

[00:15:38] and they walk around like, I got this under my shirt?

[00:15:41] He never did that.

[00:15:42] He was so shocked.

[00:15:43] No, not ever.

[00:15:44] It just came off and we went, what?

[00:15:45] Why didn't you know about this?

[00:15:47] You should be talking about it.

[00:15:48] Sure, I know.

[00:15:49] Like I would.

[00:15:50] But KC always used to...

[00:15:51] Him and I used to chat in our little chairs and he would talk about how he likes layers

[00:15:55] of clothes.

[00:15:56] Oh.

[00:15:57] I thought you meant a performance.

[00:15:59] And no, like he wears like a T-shirt and a hoodie and another hoodie and he like

[00:16:04] and he sleeps in lots of clothes.

[00:16:05] I don't know if he still does but at that time he was talking about it.

[00:16:08] He likes to be hot and clothed and covered.

[00:16:12] And so I think he's not one of those like...

[00:16:16] Yeah, I saw that.

[00:16:17] Yeah.

[00:16:18] Look at me in my tank top.

[00:16:19] Well, we got to see his stuff in the episode which was lovely.

[00:16:25] But also just his...

[00:16:26] He was so strong in the episode.

[00:16:28] Like I feel like they were...

[00:16:29] You know, at this point in the story they're trying to develop that

[00:16:32] Kenzie Hale relationship.

[00:16:33] They're sort of planting the seeds for that.

[00:16:35] That's right.

[00:16:36] Which was nice to see.

[00:16:37] And both of them together were incredible.

[00:16:39] But Kasey was so strong.

[00:16:41] Yeah.

[00:16:42] I just loved him in this episode.

[00:16:44] Agreed.

[00:16:45] I also need to say that the van scene where Bo goes to this van and then walks

[00:16:51] backwards and hits the feet of a body, which one does, that location for

[00:16:58] everyone listening was the hottest place ever in the history of filming

[00:17:03] Lost Girl.

[00:17:04] We had crew members fainting.

[00:17:05] More than raising one?

[00:17:06] Oh.

[00:17:07] Yes, more than raising one because it was inside a warehouse.

[00:17:10] So it was so hot in there.

[00:17:11] We were all dripping wet.

[00:17:13] Linda, our makeup artist, they'd have to come in and like wipe all the

[00:17:15] sweat off us.

[00:17:16] And then everyone was eating popsicles because the whole crew and the poor

[00:17:22] stunt guy hanging was just hanging in this...

[00:17:26] Where was he hanging?

[00:17:27] On the ceiling.

[00:17:28] Like he had been hung.

[00:17:32] So in real life he was not hung.

[00:17:35] He was just there on a support pulley.

[00:17:39] But it was so hot.

[00:17:40] It was the hottest day.

[00:17:41] They brought in all these air conditioning units and we had two...

[00:17:44] I guess if you just slept him a bit, you'd get a breeze.

[00:17:47] You would have got a breeze.

[00:17:48] Maybe he had better than all of you.

[00:17:50] Yeah, maybe he did.

[00:17:54] But that memory came back to me.

[00:17:57] Okay, yeah.

[00:17:58] I have a mullet.

[00:17:59] I've got that written down.

[00:18:02] Yeah, I also...

[00:18:04] The stripper seals when she finds her pelt and then dives into the

[00:18:08] water at the end of it and turns into an actual seal.

[00:18:11] It was a little tough for me to get on board with.

[00:18:15] It looked a little silly to me.

[00:18:18] But still yet very enjoyable.

[00:18:21] But I love the scene with Bo and Lauren.

[00:18:24] Anna's niceness comes out.

[00:18:26] She's like, is that a little tough for me but still enjoyable?

[00:18:29] I'd just be like, that looks pretty good.

[00:18:32] It could be niceness.

[00:18:34] It could also just be...

[00:18:35] Nothing beats Mop Monster.

[00:18:38] No, nothing beats Mop Monster.

[00:18:40] No, no, no, no.

[00:18:41] That was season one.

[00:18:43] Must have been.

[00:18:44] Was it?

[00:18:45] Yeah, season one.

[00:18:46] No, no, no.

[00:18:47] But didn't we have the Cookie Monster, that guy who ran through?

[00:18:50] That's the Mop Monster.

[00:18:52] So that must be...

[00:18:53] But the thing is that I didn't see anything until I had to FaceTime.

[00:18:59] Lauren FaceTimes with Bo and then this creature comes up behind her to attack her

[00:19:05] and I don't know anything about it until we shoot it.

[00:19:09] And I sit there and all of a sudden this man wearing 75,000 mop heads

[00:19:16] runs up behind her and I had to go,

[00:19:18] Anna or Bo ran through the raindrops.

[00:19:22] And I was like, what is that?

[00:19:27] I can't remember.

[00:19:28] Was that last season?

[00:19:29] I just remember it was Alan, was this that guy and he was wearing that mop.

[00:19:35] I thought I was there.

[00:19:37] No, was I not there for Cookie Monster?

[00:19:40] Anyone listening can write to us please and remind us please of what season that was.

[00:19:46] But what I was going to say about this episode.

[00:19:49] Okay, first of all, Lauren, I'm going to talk about hair again.

[00:19:52] Lauren's hair was epic this season.

[00:19:54] You had so much glamorous hair.

[00:19:58] Yeah, but that's because Shirley put it attached into my head.

[00:20:01] No, I get it, but it just looked so good.

[00:20:06] But I love the last scene with Bo and Lauren where Bo gives Lauren the box.

[00:20:13] Right?

[00:20:14] And then I give you the box at the end of that episode.

[00:20:16] Yes.

[00:20:17] And you tell me about Nadia.

[00:20:19] I love the opening line.

[00:20:21] Oh gosh, which episode was it?

[00:20:23] Oh yeah, the opening line of my washing machine is finished and it's singing us.

[00:20:27] Do you need to flip the laundry?

[00:20:29] No, I'm not going anywhere.

[00:20:31] I just don't.

[00:20:32] Every time we film.

[00:20:33] You can take that off.

[00:20:35] But I love the little song it plays for me.

[00:20:39] It goes on for you.

[00:20:41] Yours is really.

[00:20:43] It's really going.

[00:20:45] Yeah, it's a little bit.

[00:20:47] But I do like this.

[00:20:49] Mine's more musical.

[00:20:51] It's more lyrical.

[00:20:52] Mine's musical.

[00:20:53] I mean, it was a bit like.

[00:20:55] You don't forget.

[00:20:57] This is like a 1950s podcast with my washing machine.

[00:21:02] Yours sound okay.

[00:21:04] But like mine does God save the queen and a few other questions.

[00:21:07] Mine has Andrea Bucelli.

[00:21:12] Robin actually.

[00:21:18] Anyway, it stopped now and they're clean and the point is I'm clean.

[00:21:22] You know, that's one thing I've always said about you clean.

[00:21:26] I know that.

[00:21:27] It's always clean.

[00:21:28] Do you remember when last time something fell?

[00:21:30] Yes.

[00:21:32] Okay.

[00:21:33] I just want to tell everyone what that was because a big crash while we were

[00:21:36] filming and so what it was was I have a closet and there are, you know those

[00:21:40] hooks that you stick to the wall.

[00:21:43] Yeah, just step into the wall.

[00:21:45] Like that's your own room.

[00:21:47] Yeah.

[00:21:48] Yeah.

[00:21:49] It's just so my little broom could be hanging on the wall and then the

[00:21:52] whole thing came down and the broom and hook.

[00:21:56] So it was a room hook frenzy and that's the sound that everybody heard

[00:22:00] last time that scared me half to death.

[00:22:02] I remember and now everyone just felt like mystery.

[00:22:05] Yes, they're absolutely we can we can close the case.

[00:22:09] Anyway, I gave you a box.

[00:22:11] You gave me a box and I liked the scene but then going into episode eight I

[00:22:16] love Lauren's opening line.

[00:22:20] God, I'm getting these episodes mixed up but the opening line where you have to

[00:22:24] say something like if I had a if you had a girlfriend who was stuck in a

[00:22:28] coma sitting in a box whatever like you have this long thing, you know,

[00:22:32] not sitting in a box in an oxygen tank.

[00:22:35] It was just so it was so wonderful.

[00:22:37] I love the episode eight episode eight for Bowen Lauren.

[00:22:41] Like there was a lot of fun things, the body bag coming in and the body bag

[00:22:45] and then which I remember like being laid into and yeah, being like did I

[00:22:53] wheel you in?

[00:22:55] Yeah, you willed me in.

[00:22:56] I will be when yeah that was nice of me.

[00:22:58] It was really sweet.

[00:23:00] Yeah.

[00:23:01] I also love in that episode.

[00:23:03] My favorite thing ever though is when I say, I just really want you to

[00:23:08] meet her.

[00:23:16] Well, okay.

[00:23:17] So story wise at this point they've really come into the beginning of

[00:23:21] season two to try to break up this love triangle right so like yeah at

[00:23:24] this point the story Dyson has met up with Kiara again played by the

[00:23:29] lovely Lena Rosler.

[00:23:32] Yeah.

[00:23:33] Lauren has a secret girlfriend in a tank.

[00:23:36] Right?

[00:23:37] And I really want you to meet her.

[00:23:39] And why wouldn't you?

[00:23:40] And Bow is very sweet and kind of she says if you want me to help you get

[00:23:45] this girlfriend back, I'm going to do it.

[00:23:48] You know like she comes in so the you know.

[00:23:51] And then you killed her but.

[00:23:53] Yeah, but yeah, but that I mean she deserved it.

[00:23:56] No, you have to do your thing.

[00:23:59] Didn't see that coming when you were trying to help.

[00:24:01] No, no I didn't.

[00:24:03] But that's what I mean.

[00:24:05] I'm going to go to the dinner because it was amazing.

[00:24:08] Incredible.

[00:24:11] Hold up.

[00:24:14] What was that boring?

[00:24:16] No flavor.

[00:24:17] That was as bad as those leftovers you ate all week.

[00:24:20] Kiki Palmer here and it's time to say hello to something fresh

[00:24:23] and guilt free.

[00:24:24] Hello fresh jazz up dinner with pecan,

[00:25:11] Oh my God, I remember even when we shot the scene where

[00:25:16] she started to kind of lose her mind and stuff.

[00:25:19] Like there was the stuff where she tried to stab me in

[00:25:22] the tub and you know there was just a few moments

[00:25:25] where she was kind of like really and you could see

[00:25:27] I don't know I just thought she did such a beautiful

[00:25:30] performance and it was tough because like her

[00:25:34] her arc was like she woke up from a coma and

[00:25:37] more or less went crazy.

[00:25:40] And I thought she just did a beautiful job that

[00:25:44] could have turned into something that looked

[00:25:46] possibly you know less or after may not

[00:25:49] like that great.

[00:25:51] She found a build, she found a beautiful build

[00:25:54] and then when she finally did kind of snap

[00:25:57] in that final scene where you killed her.

[00:26:00] I remember in the scene just watching her going

[00:26:06] wow you're really doing incredible work right now.

[00:26:09] I was really impressed with it.

[00:26:11] Yeah and she had to come out of a coma with a sense

[00:26:14] of history with you.

[00:26:16] And hit the ground running.

[00:26:18] I mean most people get a little time when they

[00:26:20] come out of a coma.

[00:26:22] But yeah but she also had to like wake up

[00:26:24] with this sense of history which was there

[00:26:26] for both of you that's on both of you obviously.

[00:26:29] But then no she's an incredible actress.

[00:26:32] Yeah she's a solid actor I was just really impressed with it.

[00:26:35] Yeah and I also love Zachary Bennett who played

[00:26:38] the bloody butcher when it's such a gross scene

[00:26:44] and I remember being really grossed out by him

[00:26:48] he's all bloody he's chopping things and he

[00:26:51] bites his own finger off and starts eating it.

[00:26:54] And I remember Lisa our lovely props lady

[00:26:56] gave him like this big gummy worm like a thick one

[00:27:00] that was like red so it was all kind of blended in

[00:27:02] and he bites the gummy worm.

[00:27:04] And that's what he's actually biting

[00:27:06] and chewing on and it looks so gross.

[00:27:09] That's a good idea.

[00:27:11] A big thick gummy worm.

[00:27:13] Not thin one it can't be like a little wiggly one.

[00:27:16] No it's got to be finger thing.

[00:27:18] Like thumb it's got to be at least it's man thumb.

[00:27:20] It was a thumb?

[00:27:22] You know I can't remember but it was some digit.

[00:27:24] But some of my gummy worms that are as thick as thumbs.

[00:27:28] That's the end question.

[00:27:30] Well Lisa found stuff.

[00:27:32] Lisa was amazing.

[00:27:33] Listen once I started stabbing whatever I was stabbing

[00:27:36] oh Jesus there's a microphone.

[00:27:39] She got some sort of heart at one point

[00:27:42] that I had to stab and I was like this woman

[00:27:44] could do anything.

[00:27:45] Yep she can do anything.

[00:27:47] Lisa can do anything.

[00:27:48] No no she was amazing.

[00:27:50] She was amazing.

[00:27:51] She was like so good at

[00:27:53] since her skill for anyone who comes in to talk to the actors

[00:27:57] and leave.

[00:27:58] She was a pro at that like nobody.

[00:28:01] She would come in here's what it is here's what you do.

[00:28:04] Do you have questions?

[00:28:05] This is how it works.

[00:28:07] And she would and she was just so ahead of it.

[00:28:11] Like she was so on top of it.

[00:28:12] Do you remember what happened to Lisa

[00:28:13] when we're filming episode eight

[00:28:15] and we're chained we're both chained to the wall?

[00:28:18] Oh yeah the chain to the wall.

[00:28:20] I don't remember what happened.

[00:28:21] We were chained.

[00:28:22] She's up there chaining us you know

[00:28:25] as she does and then she you know it's like roll sound

[00:28:30] Lisa's chaining us chaining us

[00:28:33] and she runs off the page.

[00:28:35] Get past it.

[00:28:36] What?

[00:28:37] Get past it.

[00:28:39] Oh yeah land the plane Anna land the plane.

[00:28:41] Okay got it got it.

[00:28:42] She's chaining us.

[00:28:43] And then we were chaining us.

[00:28:44] And then she's chaining us.

[00:28:45] And then do you remember we were chaining us?

[00:28:46] I'm not sure if you remember that there were chains.

[00:28:50] Okay.

[00:28:52] Yeah.

[00:28:53] Then she runs off stage.

[00:28:55] And she wipes out like she falls flat on her face

[00:28:59] and slides across the floor.

[00:29:01] And you and I are standing there

[00:29:02] and she just yells out I'm okay.

[00:29:04] That's not at all funny.

[00:29:05] No it was she yells I'm okay.

[00:29:07] And we're like they're like action

[00:29:09] and we're like oh no we're chained

[00:29:12] there's nothing we could do but she was okay.

[00:29:13] She was okay.

[00:29:15] My son is coming in the room.

[00:29:18] My Levi you cannot be here.

[00:29:21] You can't be on camera.

[00:29:22] My love.

[00:29:23] Both of my children.

[00:29:24] I'm sorry I just chained the wall.

[00:29:27] Levi.

[00:29:28] Good.

[00:29:29] Okay cool.

[00:29:31] Action.

[00:29:32] I love that it was just like action.

[00:29:34] We were like okay.

[00:29:36] That's how savage this industry can be you know.

[00:29:40] I know.

[00:29:41] Savage.

[00:29:42] But the point is oops Lisa was a I mean she was just

[00:29:45] a rock star.

[00:29:46] She could.

[00:29:47] I know I'm sure she just bounced right off the air.

[00:29:50] She landed in some sort of cat pose and she did exactly

[00:29:54] what she did.

[00:29:55] And then my like tricks that like where they'd like slide

[00:29:58] like this like that's my memory with her.

[00:30:00] Yeah.

[00:30:01] Yeah.

[00:30:02] I would if I could only I mean I love crew at every show

[00:30:07] but Lisa was solid Lisa would get a particular special

[00:30:11] woman.

[00:30:12] Yeah.

[00:30:13] She was maybe a seven chain.

[00:30:15] Yeah.

[00:30:16] Some chains.

[00:30:17] I'm sorry about chains because I think you should.

[00:30:20] Yeah.

[00:30:21] We really circled that intersection.

[00:30:23] You know speaking of chains.

[00:30:26] Yeah.

[00:30:27] Yeah.

[00:30:28] Recently we went into some snow here in California with

[00:30:31] my family.

[00:30:32] This is a little family story and.

[00:30:34] Oh okay so he's like oh this is actually happening.

[00:30:36] This is actually happening.

[00:30:38] We drove to a place called Big Bear and you need

[00:30:43] to get on your tires.

[00:30:44] Right.

[00:30:45] So we're like oh okay we got to go with chains because if

[00:30:47] they get a lot of snow it's a treacherous mountain.

[00:30:50] So my husband you know the day before leaving like okay

[00:30:54] did you get the chains?

[00:30:55] He's like no no no we got some special socks for

[00:30:59] the tires and I was like socks.

[00:31:04] So we didn't have chains we had socks and it just

[00:31:07] doesn't sound like it has the same effectiveness as

[00:31:11] a chain.

[00:31:12] I don't know how to react to this story.

[00:31:14] I know I don't even know what to do.

[00:31:17] It's right up there with like do you buy that at the

[00:31:19] same place you buy thumb-sized gummy bears?

[00:31:22] I don't know but I just thought it was something

[00:31:25] everyone should know.

[00:31:27] Yeah.

[00:31:28] If you don't need to get chains you can get socks.

[00:31:32] I understand the chain of events now.

[00:31:34] You do.

[00:31:35] Yes me too.

[00:31:36] I feel so chained to this story.

[00:31:38] I just feel the chains.

[00:31:42] Changing subjects.

[00:31:47] The other thing about guest stars on this show like

[00:31:50] people like Salvatore Zachary and Courtney White

[00:31:52] who played the spoiled rich girl who was so great

[00:31:56] as well Kenzie is within that episode.

[00:32:00] Even though they're really like strong characters

[00:32:03] this is where the writing was so good and the

[00:32:06] performances were so good.

[00:32:08] They're all really like sympathetic characters.

[00:32:12] You know you feel sad for them.

[00:32:16] They're not just evil.

[00:32:18] That's good writing.

[00:32:20] They figure out how to make even the most heinous

[00:32:24] kind of horrible characters have depth in them

[00:32:28] and dynamic and complicated.

[00:32:31] And you kind of forget that until you're rewatching.

[00:32:34] Yeah.

[00:32:35] And it's a weird season for me to rewatch

[00:32:39] because I just feel like I'm watching the show

[00:32:42] for the first time.

[00:32:43] I really do.

[00:32:45] Yeah.

[00:32:47] Yeah.

[00:32:48] It was a while ago and I had the same experience.

[00:32:50] I was watching going oh my god that's right.

[00:32:52] That's right.

[00:32:53] Yeah.

[00:32:54] Just a lot of that.

[00:32:55] And then I was like oh my god are those chains?

[00:32:57] I know.

[00:32:58] I found myself sketching and I looked down

[00:33:01] and it was just chains.

[00:33:03] I know.

[00:33:05] I know.

[00:33:07] What else?

[00:33:09] Just doodling.

[00:33:11] I can't decide if we just keep going.

[00:33:14] I'm not even joking.

[00:33:18] I just looked down at my notes and it was the note about

[00:33:21] chains.

[00:33:22] I'm like at some point have we climaxed or not?

[00:33:27] I can't do that.

[00:33:28] I can't do that.

[00:33:29] I don't know.

[00:33:30] I'm just going to say whatever.

[00:33:32] Okay.

[00:33:33] Story point though.

[00:33:34] This is a story point.

[00:33:35] Yeah.

[00:33:36] This is the first time Bo does a super suck.

[00:33:39] So this was a big deal in the story because I got shot.

[00:33:42] I'm chained.

[00:33:43] I get shot through the stomach and then I get up

[00:33:46] because they've taken you and tied you to a table

[00:33:49] or whatever.

[00:33:50] And I super suck which is a big story point.

[00:33:53] What did you think?

[00:33:57] Did it say go super sucks?

[00:33:59] It said something like that.

[00:34:01] It must have.

[00:34:02] How else would I know?

[00:34:03] What did I think?

[00:34:04] I thought that'll be Tuesday or whatever I would have

[00:34:06] thought at the time that I was reading it.

[00:34:08] But it was a big story point and I remember getting

[00:34:12] up to do my you will all listen to me speech.

[00:34:16] And then I went to ADR and John our lovely ADR guy

[00:34:20] who we had on the podcast last year.

[00:34:22] John Lang.

[00:34:23] John Lang.

[00:34:24] He wanted me to see it.

[00:34:26] He showed it to me and it was this big deep booming

[00:34:29] demonic voice and he wanted to know what I thought.

[00:34:32] And this is where this is why people were so incredible

[00:34:35] and so collaborative because I was like I was watching

[00:34:38] it and I said, well, there's one little thing missing

[00:34:41] from this for me.

[00:34:42] And it's that it doesn't have like I think of Bo.

[00:34:47] Bo is so Uber sensual and sexual.

[00:34:52] I felt it needed a feminine sound in the masculine sound.

[00:34:56] I needed both and so he blend he blended that in,

[00:35:00] which I thought was really cool to listen back to it

[00:35:04] and see that he took that and liked it and did it.

[00:35:11] And there it is.

[00:35:12] Okay.

[00:35:13] It was cool to watch.

[00:35:15] I love the scene with you the lipstick.

[00:35:21] Oh, the blot.

[00:35:22] It's a beautiful scene.

[00:35:23] Yeah.

[00:35:24] It's a really beautiful.

[00:35:25] That was all lighting that scene.

[00:35:27] What do you mean?

[00:35:28] I mean, it was lit so beautifully.

[00:35:31] It was beautifully.

[00:35:32] I mean, like, and that was David Green.

[00:35:34] David Green did us all.

[00:35:35] Yeah.

[00:35:36] I mean, yeah, we looked good.

[00:35:39] Like, I know that was just him just doing his magical,

[00:35:43] you know, side lights and whatnot.

[00:35:46] And you just came in like sort of float in to a scene.

[00:35:50] I know, you know,

[00:35:51] I know we have a lot to thank him for.

[00:35:53] That's all I'm saying.

[00:35:54] Yes, we do.

[00:35:55] And he we just never had to worry about that aspect of no,

[00:35:59] it would just always do.

[00:36:00] We'd look incredible.

[00:36:02] Yeah.

[00:36:03] Yeah.

[00:36:04] That was a great scene.

[00:36:05] Yeah.

[00:36:06] And then what else happened in that scene?

[00:36:08] I guess you see Nadia and I kissing at some point, don't you?

[00:36:10] No, not in this episode.

[00:36:12] You kiss.

[00:36:13] No, you kiss me next to Nadia.

[00:36:15] Oh yeah.

[00:36:16] Oh, that's right.

[00:36:17] I kiss you right next door.

[00:36:19] Yeah.

[00:36:20] I said, and then we heard like a little knock.

[00:36:22] You're like going to meet my girlfriend in the box.

[00:36:25] And I brought you in and she's lying there.

[00:36:28] And I was like, and now that you've met her,

[00:36:30] I think we should probably make up.

[00:36:32] And then look at each other like what's next.

[00:36:36] That was kind of crazy.

[00:36:38] Yeah.

[00:36:39] That was kind of crazy.

[00:36:43] And yeah.

[00:36:45] Yeah.

[00:36:46] And only to find out like you,

[00:36:47] like I guess that kiss really was what propelled you to stab her.

[00:36:51] I mean, that's really what you whispered it into my mouth.

[00:36:55] Yeah.

[00:36:56] Like you must.

[00:36:57] Oh my God.

[00:36:59] Yeah, no, this is.

[00:37:01] I just would like to say for the record,

[00:37:04] I did not whisper anything into her mouth.

[00:37:07] No, she didn't.

[00:37:09] Um, but you know,

[00:37:10] I just mean I think you've got your hopes up a little there.

[00:37:13] I did once I kissed you right beside her and you were like,

[00:37:16] oh, okay.

[00:37:17] There's some,

[00:37:18] some, yeah.

[00:37:19] Yeah.

[00:37:20] Yeah.

[00:37:21] And then you took her out.

[00:37:22] I did.

[00:37:23] I did.

[00:37:24] Um, season two.

[00:37:26] Season two.

[00:37:27] What else?

[00:37:28] Season two.

[00:37:29] What else we got?

[00:37:30] I don't know.

[00:37:31] I mean, season two for me is the biggest memory I think in as

[00:37:36] a whole is all of us at the end at four o'clock in the morning

[00:37:40] with Steve DiMarco killing a Geruda.

[00:37:42] Oh yeah.

[00:37:43] Once we got the 22 episode order,

[00:37:46] we said the word Geruda.

[00:37:48] No, I don't feel like.

[00:37:50] 150 million times.

[00:37:52] Like by season three,

[00:37:53] you were just like, oh,

[00:37:55] like that.

[00:37:56] Oh my God.

[00:37:57] Geruda.

[00:37:58] I think they had to kind of write that stretch,

[00:38:01] that storyline, right?

[00:38:03] Yeah.

[00:38:04] Um, it was a great story.

[00:38:06] It was just we were,

[00:38:07] we were drowning in it by the end of season two.

[00:38:09] Yeah.

[00:38:10] Yep.

[00:38:11] Yeah.

[00:38:12] And then,

[00:38:13] and then we had to see it and it was a tennis ball flying around

[00:38:16] the room and we had to try to keep our eyes on it.

[00:38:20] It's amazing.

[00:38:21] We didn't just die laughing all the time filming the show

[00:38:25] because we did the most ridiculous things,

[00:38:27] but it felt like it felt like.

[00:38:28] We did laugh a lot though.

[00:38:29] Sometimes it felt like we were kids playing, you know,

[00:38:32] like that's what I mean.

[00:38:33] It was magical.

[00:38:34] Yeah.

[00:38:35] It was a lot of fun.

[00:38:36] It was summer camp.

[00:38:37] Yep.

[00:38:38] It was.

[00:38:39] It was the best.

[00:38:40] It was the best.

[00:38:41] Wow.

[00:38:42] All right.

[00:38:43] Good way.

[00:38:44] Miss.

[00:38:45] Miss.

[00:38:46] Thomas.

[00:38:47] Yeah.

[00:38:48] I know.

[00:38:49] I know.

[00:38:50] No, listen, where could you go?

[00:38:51] Where could you go?

[00:38:52] And we are very lucky to have you come back on the show.

[00:38:55] It's my pleasure.

[00:38:56] We know how much,

[00:38:57] and I know you know how much lost girl fans love you

[00:39:00] and love Bo and Lauren.

[00:39:02] And we are very grateful for that.

[00:39:04] And we're very grateful for that.

[00:39:06] And I know you have the same feeling as I have.

[00:39:09] I know you have a different feeling of love.

[00:39:11] You have a different feeling of love.

[00:39:13] And you have a different feeling of love.

[00:39:15] And we are very grateful to you.

[00:39:17] Well,

[00:39:18] I'm very grateful to you and to all of the lost girl fans.

[00:39:21] The feeling is, is beyond mutual.

[00:39:23] We will always be chained together.

[00:39:25] Oh God.

[00:39:26] Good.

[00:39:27] So he's got to go.

[00:39:29] Her laundry machine calls her.

[00:39:31] Anyway.

[00:39:32] It's funny. I don't hear it.

[00:39:33] I don't hear it. So it's weird.

[00:39:35] My mic's cutting out.

[00:39:38] Thank you everybody for listening and watching to this week's episode.

[00:39:44] Thank you again, Miss Palmer.

[00:39:45] Thank you, Miss Marston.

[00:39:46] And we will see all of you guys on the next one.

[00:39:50] That's it.

[00:39:54] You're washing machine.

[00:39:55] Somebody flushed the toilet.

[00:39:56] What happened?

[00:39:58] Bye.

[00:39:59] Hey, Rachel, are you ready for some voicemails?

[00:40:06] Let's do it.

[00:40:07] This first one is from Nancy.

[00:40:10] Hello.

[00:40:11] This is a question for both of you.

[00:40:13] Anna and Rachel has your characters.

[00:40:17] Oh, Dennis and Tansman have they ever played video games

[00:40:22] and been influenced quite a bit by Kenzie specifically the background

[00:40:28] on Wake and some are really good.

[00:40:31] The classic horror films and movies and analog horror.

[00:40:37] Look it up and you'll know what I mean by analog or take care.

[00:40:41] Bye.

[00:40:42] I don't know analog horror.

[00:40:44] Do you?

[00:40:45] Okay.

[00:40:46] Well, I'm about to find out.

[00:40:48] And I think the question is was our character,

[00:40:50] were our characters influenced by video games?

[00:40:53] Etc.

[00:40:54] Yeah.

[00:40:55] Huh.

[00:40:56] Okay.

[00:40:57] Let's see.

[00:40:58] Analog horror.

[00:40:59] Oh my gosh, this is so scary.

[00:41:02] What is analog horror?

[00:41:03] It's a sub genre of horror that draws heavily on the style and

[00:41:07] aesthetic of vintage analog media such as VHS and cassette tapes.

[00:41:13] So, oh, you know what it would be like the Blair Witch project.

[00:41:17] That would be because it's a very, very, very, very, very,

[00:41:20] very, very, very much analog it would be like the Blair Witch project.

[00:41:23] That would be kind of analog.

[00:41:24] Okay.

[00:41:25] So what is my character and, or your character influenced by

[00:41:29] that?

[00:41:30] I mean, I guess because I grew up playing video games,

[00:41:35] like, I grew up playing video games.

[00:41:37] Rachel where I'd go to the arcade and get some quarters and then

[00:41:41] you had to turn in the quarters to get tokens and then you had

[00:41:45] to put tokens in the machine, like big, you know, classic video games.

[00:41:48] So I was certainly influenced by that.

[00:41:51] And then my one of my best friends, Jeremy growing up, he was the first one

[00:41:54] to get a computer.

[00:41:55] And so we played video games at his house on the Commodore 64.

[00:42:01] And it was like this game where everyone moves really slowly and like stabbing

[00:42:04] happens really slowly.

[00:42:05] You're stabbing these creatures and blood comes out like really like

[00:42:08] in little tiny bursts.

[00:42:11] So me, Anna personally was very influenced by video games and of that

[00:42:17] of that genre and era.

[00:42:21] I would say Tamsen, maybe not by analog horror, although that was like Blair,

[00:42:28] which was when I was in, you know, grade school and it was really scary.

[00:42:34] But I was of the N64 generation and my brother and I did play Mortal Kombat.

[00:42:41] And I suppose the way that I played Mortal Kombat was very similar to Tamsen.

[00:42:45] I would just press all the buttons and hope for the best.

[00:42:48] I love that.

[00:42:49] So that actually is a good parallel with Tamsen.

[00:42:54] Mortal Kombat.

[00:42:55] And for me, I was more like, like waiting, waiting and then pouncing

[00:43:00] and really competitive and wanted to win.

[00:43:02] So that's, that's like Bo in slow motion instillated images.

[00:43:08] Great question.

[00:43:09] Nancy, I've never had that question before.

[00:43:12] Let's take another voicemail from Jen.

[00:43:17] Hi, my name is Jen Dumont.

[00:43:19] I live in Colorado and I have one question for you.

[00:43:22] If you are currently in the auditioning process right now, whether for TV shows

[00:43:26] or movies, what is it you're looking for in a role right now?

[00:43:30] You've both been on successful TV shows.

[00:43:34] But at this stage of the game, what would your ideal role be?

[00:43:39] Thanks for responding.

[00:43:43] These are great questions.

[00:43:44] Great questions.

[00:43:46] Sure.

[00:43:46] I mean, I've as I've gotten more long in the tooth, which means old

[00:43:56] has I've gotten as I've matured in this business and in life, matured.

[00:44:03] The a great role might not be the same thing as a great job.

[00:44:09] You can have a great job as a mom in this business and it can be the best job.

[00:44:15] And maybe it's not your dream role, but you're working with great people

[00:44:19] and you're you know, you're contributing creatively in some way.

[00:44:22] And that's a great job.

[00:44:24] It would be amazing if the great job could also contain the great role.

[00:44:27] So I don't know what that great role is, although I think you predicted

[00:44:31] recently, Rachel, that I'd be like a district attorney or something.

[00:44:35] And then my next audition was that and I was like, I'm going to book

[00:44:38] this because what Rachel says must be.

[00:44:42] Avra Kadabra, that's what that means.

[00:44:44] As you say it, it shall be something like that.

[00:44:47] So yeah, I will see what happens.

[00:44:51] But that's that would be my answer.

[00:44:53] I feel like you'd be a great.

[00:44:54] I mean, just look at your brain.

[00:44:55] You'd be a great DA.

[00:44:57] Oh, my gosh.

[00:44:57] Well, I just my eyeball.

[00:44:59] That was so weird.

[00:45:01] That was God being like you.

[00:45:03] It's not that way, Rachel.

[00:45:05] Oh, I.

[00:45:08] I would love to get a really cool series on Apple or Amazon.

[00:45:19] Kind of like eight to ten episodes.

[00:45:23] Maybe zombies are involved.

[00:45:25] Don't know.

[00:45:25] Just maybe stabbing.

[00:45:30] Maybe a little more combat.

[00:45:32] No, but I would love.

[00:45:35] Yeah, just to maybe not even be the lead, but a really great supporting

[00:45:41] character because as you said, when you become a mom, the lead role as Anna knows

[00:45:48] is very, very time consuming like 19 hour days, day in, day out, press on the weekends.

[00:45:57] And I guess my priorities right now have changed.

[00:46:00] But I still kind of yearn for that creativity.

[00:46:05] Either that or I keep saying this, I want to be in a movie with Will Ferrell.

[00:46:10] So you just said it.

[00:46:12] So that's it.

[00:46:13] Shelby.

[00:46:15] Yeah, well, no, and I am a big believer in saying things out loud.

[00:46:20] I think some people call it manifestation.

[00:46:22] I just call it like owning what you want.

[00:46:25] And I think that there's a power in saying something because then once you said it,

[00:46:32] you either make it happen or.

[00:46:35] Or you don't.

[00:46:37] But I don't know.

[00:46:38] It's like when I moved out to Los Angeles and I told everyone I was coming back

[00:46:41] here to be an actor and I remember it was like two years of auditioning

[00:46:44] and everyone was saying no to me, but I told everyone I was going to do this.

[00:46:47] I was like, I'll be damned if I move home.

[00:46:49] And I think there is a power in that, you know?

[00:46:53] So yeah, that's what I want.

[00:46:55] But great question.

[00:46:58] Jen will Ferrell and I will be the attorney in that movie.

[00:47:03] Yeah, I think I have to be more specific with my with my desire.

[00:47:08] Just a random attorney that walks in.

[00:47:12] But yeah, it is a good question.

[00:47:14] It's when I reflect on often, to be perfectly honest.

[00:47:17] So we shall see.

[00:47:19] But thank you, Jen, and thank you everyone for listening to this week's episode.

[00:47:23] We will see you on the next one.
